6 Tips for a Better Digestion

Problems with digestion can sometimes ruin our lives: stomach discomfort, bloating, acid reflux… And, sometimes, it's not just our diet that is at stake, but our way of eating. Here are some tips to better digest your meals.

1. Diarrhea, constipation… identify problems of digestion

Digestion problems diverge from person to person! Thus, a person who is regularly constipated will not necessarily have the same diet as another who is subject to chronic diarrhea.

It is, therefore, necessary to identify the type of your digestive problem: stomach pain? Bloating? Acid ascensions? Moreover, it is important to find the foods that accentuate these phenomena or which, on the contrary, make it possible to reduce them.

2. Do not eat too fast

Do not forget not to do anything too physical directly after eating, but to take at least a quarter of an hour to remain calm, so as not to rush your digestive system.

5. Have a balanced diet

6. Do sports and manage stress

Lack of physical activity can cause digestive problems. Indeed, daily physical activity, even if it's just walking a few kilometers, is beneficial for better digestion. So do not hesitate to start walking, running or cycling, for example.

Moreover, stress is pointed out by a number of specialists as one of the causes of digestive problems. It can be important if one tends to suffer during digestion and is of an anguished nature. There are many ways to manage the stress properly, like using essential oils to sleep better, yoga, sophrology, etc.
